The Flagler Beach fire department has been serving the city since 1926. The staff is on duty 7 days a week, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. They respond to approximately 1,000 calls per year. Firefighters undergo continuous training in order to keep up-to-date on education and latest fire safety techniques. The department strives to bring the citizens of Flagler Beach the best in fire protection and emergency medical services available. Group tours of the fire station are available and firefighters regularly visit schools, helping to educate children in fire protection and fire safety.
